15

Say the nursery rhyme "Little Miss Muffet" with your child. Then encourage him or her to substitute names, food, and animals to make new poems.

20

Have your child walk from the couch to a chair, counting footsteps as he or she goes. Record the number of footsteps, and then measure and record other distances throughout your home.

22

How many different kinds of weather can you and your child think of? Ask your child what are his or her favorit kinds of weather.
