Words, Sounds, and Smiles: Building Literacy Through Comics

The InvestiGators COMICS are a fun and effective way to build early literacy skills while keeping children fully engaged. These playful stories are packed with giggles and learning moments, helping young readers recognize sounds like “shhhh” and decode simple words such as wow. Educators often notice that children who read comics show increased confidence and excitement about reading — and significant research backs that up. Comics offer powerful literacy benefits, making the InvestiGators series both highly enjoyable and developmentally meaningful for early learners.

Testimonials and Reviews

Another reason to love Dilly’s Tree HouseTM is that it is designed to be used for about 10-15 minutes, three times a week. In that time you will cover readiness skills in literacy, oral language, social studies, STEM, music, art, and physical and social-emotional development. You will literally be covering all the bases!
